Signs of the Zodiac
The signs of the zodiac are present in everybody. You are not just your Sun sign, sometimes called your 'star sign' or your 'zodiac sign'. You are a composite all signs, in differing proportions.
In different areas of your life you will draw on different signs, bringing out different sides of you, and your interactions with different people will also bring out different parts of you, emphasising signs that may not be your Sun sign.
People often say that humanity can't be reduced to twelve identical types. Astrology has never made the claim that humanity can be. Human genes use just four amino acids - A, C, G, and T - arranged in various ways to form complex organisms. The signs of the zodiac actually represent themes in life which can be lived out in an infinite number of ways.
